Gastronomy

One automatically associates a region that is known as “the Garden of France” with the typical French lifestyle, famously known as “savoir vivre”.

Where else would one find conditions for such an exquisite gastronomic culture than in the Loire region – from Nantes, the gateway of the world to the opulently set tables in the royal castles, from Cointreau in Angers to the renowned vineyards along the river, Rillettes, Andouillettes, goat cheese from St. Maure….

Local produce from our village e.g. are fresh white asparagus from our neighbour in spring or a delicious goat cheese, but also excellent Chinon wines in red, white or rosé.

The spectrum of culinary delicacies is endless. Look forward to a “slice” of France, seasoned with Austrian flair.
